Easter skiing!

There is nothing quite like the feeling of hitting the slopes while the sky is blue, the air is crisp and the sun is warming you on the terraces. Easter also means great après-ski and lots of exciting events taking place including visits from the Easter bunny! Here are more reasons why we love Easter skiing…

1) Longer days

Longer lighter days mean there is no need to cram in all your activities on the slopes in a short space of time. So take the time to indulge in a lunchtime break relaxing on a deckchair with the snow at your feet and the sun warming your skin. Alternatively, after a long day on the slopes, watch the sunset with a well-deserved beverage in hand! Either way, time is not an objection!

2) No need to pack as much!

Because it’s not as cold as in January and February, you really won’t need to pack as much as you won’t need so many layers! For more information, visit our what to pack page and don’t forget SPF!

3) The Views

Related to the weather conditions, but deserves its own entry in our top reasons to ski in spring! When there’s great visibility the views across the Alps are simply stunning. Breath-taking. Pack a camera in that backpack or at least make sure your smartphone is fully charged.

4) Great deals.

There really are some bargains to be had, be sure to check out our latest ski deals. Plus, great savings on your holiday = more activities!

5) Variety of activities and entertainment.

During the holidays, there’s always lots going on for the kids including the likes of Easter egg hunts, plus you’ll be able to enjoy activities such as ziplining, laser quest, paragliding, ice skating and more, while at night partying in the mountains at the spring festivals. See our resort pages for a guide of what’s on.

6) Fantastic Conditions

You’ll get a range of snow conditions during this period. Enjoy skiing bumps? You’ll find them. Prefer groomers? No problem, there’s something for everybody!
